Michelle Williams Wore Celine To The 2023 DGA Awards

Michelle Williams continued her awards season run at the 2023 Directors Guild Of America Awards on Saturday (February 18) in Beverly Hills, California. 

The actress wore a Celine strapless gown which I’m struggling to get on board with.

My biggest issue is that panel that drapes across her body. 

For me, it really serves no purpose and disrupts the clean lines of the gown.

I also feel that the V-shape of the bodice is too wide.  This is most evident under her armpits where you can see that the bodice is wider than her chest.

If this had a narrower bodice, and panel free skirt, I would then start wondering if this was a good colour for Michelle to begin with.
