On Saturday (January 28), Rosie Huntington-Whiteley was in Linkeroever, Antwerp for Pieter Mulier’s Alaïa Fall 2023 intimate show.
We all know Rosie as a devotee to neutral colours. She was a Bottega Veneta girl for some time, and most recently she has been flirting with Valentino, but now we see her in the front row with Alaïa.
Some might look at the Rose Inc founder and feel that this Alaïa Fall 2022 suit is too mature for her, but I’m here for the stylish sophistication and the change of pace.
The checkered wool suit is not only weather-appropriate, but it also has plenty of flare imbued by the ruffled hem on the skirt.
Sure, Rosie could’ve worn just about anything from this collection, as we’ve seen many high-octane looks from Margot Robbie who give us a hooded cut-out dress for the Babylon LA premiere, Meadow Walker smouldered on the red carpet in her knitted look for the WSJ Magazine Innovator Awards and Charlize Theron was electrifying in red at the ELLE Women In Hollywood Celebration.
This look feels perfectly suited to the intimate setting which was followed by a dinner.
Rosie always marches to the beat of her own drum, so I welcome this ladies-who-lunch suit styled with an Alaïa stretch-velour turtleneck bodysuit and Alaïa Cœur 110 patent leather-trimmed suede point-toe pumps.
