Cate Blanchett Wore Alexander Vauthier Haute Couture To The ‘Tar’ LA Screening

Cate Blanchett attended the LA screening of her new film, ‘Tar,’ following the premiere held during the New York Film Festival earlier this week.

Opting for her third black look in a row, the Australian actress reverted to a style that always serves her so well: exquisite tailoring.

I did lighten the image ever so slightly, to allow us to see the details of her Alexander Vauthier Fall 2022 Haute Couture suit, as the original was so dark you couldn’t see the satin lapels, let alone the short sleeves on the smoking jacket.

I love how this sculptural jacket from Alexander Vauthier offers a feminine silhouette thanks to its traditional double-breasted fastening, padded shoulders and a contoured waist for added definition.

We’ll have to guess the footwear, but knowing Cate, I’m guessing pointy black pumps.

I’m delighted to see that her hairstylist opted for smoothed out tresses on this occasion.
