Billy Porter Wore Christian Siriano To The 2023 Golden Globe Awards

Billy Porter resurrected the tuxedo gown for the 2023 Golden Globe Awards.

It’s been a while since Billy Porter had a wow moment on the red carpet, so I’m not surprised that he turned to Christian Siriano to recreate the magic from the 2019 Oscars with this fuchsia velvet tuxedo overlay gown.

The problem is that we will always compare. 

So while he looks better than he has in a while, and the construct is in some parts better than the first, I have this underlying feeling of been-there-done-that.

And the glitter platforms didn’t help his cause.
