2022 Glamour Women Of The Year Awards

Here is a roundup from the 2022 Glamour Women of the Year Awards which was held at The Grill & The Pool Restaurants on Tuesday (November 1) in New York City.

Sophie Turner wore a Louis Vuitton black crushed velvet bustier mini dress which she styled with Louis Vuitton Donna boots and the brand’s signature Petite Malle clutch.

I do like the look, but I’m buying more into Sophie herself, as the hair, makeup and attitude are what is really selling the look here.

I’m surprised she didn’t opt for another look from the Spring 2023 collection, but I’m wondering how often we will see that collection outside of Louis Vuitton events.

Patina Miller wore a shimmering Michael Kors Collection Fall 2022 gold embroidery turtleneck dress which I’m sure many of you guessed before you scrolled to the text.

This is classic Michael Kors.

Angela Bassett, who was one of the honourees, looked stunning wearing a custom Pamella Roland white gown accented with micro pleated tulle neckline and crystal applique trim degrade.

This is far superior to the dress she wore to the ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ Washington screening.

Teyana Taylor was rocking a Balenciaga oversized suit with a t-shirt paying homage to Janet Jackson in her Rhythm Nation era.

That necklace is my favourite part of this look.

Kelly Rowland wore a black LaQuan Smith Fall 2022 turtleneck gown with cut out detail which we saw on Jourdan Dunn during London Fashion Week.

A L’AFSHAR Leon clutch completed her look.

Chloe Kim looked beautiful in this winter white slinky dress, but she needed silver sandals with this look as the nude platforms were a miss.

‘Tis the season to bring back The Vampire’s Wife dresses to the red carpet, according to Mariska Hargitay.

Olivia Palermo wore a Bach Mai signature moiré sculpted back bomber jacket with a sculptural skirt from the Spring 2022 collection.

This was a interesting silhouette for her.

Nazanin Boniadi was looking as glamorous as ever wearing a Bazza Alzouman puff sleeve column gown to which she added sheer fingerless gloves, and a selection of stunning jewels.

Without the bold colours or the appliqués, it may be hard to believe that Jennifer Hudson is wearing an off-the-shoulder jumpsuit from Greta Constantine.
