The BRIT Awards 2018 Red Carpet Roundup

Long, short, and everything in between, the eclectic looks marched on with so many more stars in attendance at The Brit Awards 2018 on Wednesday (February 21) in London.

Jennifer Hudson: I loved the sizzling hue of this red-hot Ralph Lauren gown, but not the fit. The patent-plasticized look would have been all shine had the silhouette been sleeker without the awkward folds.

Adwoa Aboah: Rita Ora wasn’t the only one in feathers, as Adwoa also took a flight of fancy with this Sonia Rykiel white dress. The model’s directional looks can sometimes be a tough sell, so I like the pristine romance she presented here with Jimmy Choo ‘Minny’ sandals and a Time’s Up rose to complete the picture.

Maya Jama: Given this House of Holland mini was a custom piece, I expected an impeccable fit and the pink metallic number delivered. She complemented its flirty, girlish side with Sophia Webster embellished sandals. But, I would have left the diamond choker at home.

Jennifer Hudson In Rubin Singer – Grammy Salute To Industry Icons Honoring Jay-Z

Jennifer Hudson took to the red carpet before her performance at Clive Davis’ annual GRAMMY Salute to Industry Icons which honored Jay-Z on Saturday (January 27) in New York City.

Offering a rich redux of motown’s disco-ready style, the singer wore a Rubin Singer bronze sequin gown styled with jewels from Butani, MARLI NYC and Djula.

If high shine and high glamour was her red carpet M.O. for this event, she nailed it.

Jennifer Hudson In Vivienne Westwood – The Voice UK 2018 Launch Photocall

Jennifer Hudson joined Emma Willis for The Voice UK photocall in London today (January 3).

Paying no mind to Storm Eleanor which has been terrorizing the nation, Jennifer stepped out in a gorgeous Vivienne Westwood Spring 2016 dress.

Combining the bold print of the mini dress with the raw sensuality of the lace overlay, this sees Jennifer continue her grand form and ability to experiment from the end of last year.

Could she have stepped things up in the shoe department?

Perhaps, but overall, I love the look from head-to-toe. It’s good to see her opting for less predictable pieces.

Jennifer Hudson In Gucci – The Voice

Jennifer Hudson went for unabashed glamour at ‘The Voice’ finale on Tuesday (December 19), joining Miley Cyrus and Sia.

Gucci is known for its maximalist looks and this Fall 2017 ensemble definitely isn’t subdued with its tumble of shimmering ruffles.

I can see people either being blown away by this or finding that it’s simply too much.

I actually think that she has managed to pull off the gown. The royal purple colour is divine on her. Plus, she exudes confidence making it clear she is wearing the dress and it is not wearing her.

Jennifer Hudson In Martha Medeiros – The Voice

Judge Jennifer Hudson not only lent her wisdom, but also her voice on stage as she joined her team members during Tuesday night’s ‘The Voice.’

Belting out a soulful version of The Beatles’ ‘Let It Be’, the singer wore a sultry lace embellished number from Martha Medeiros.

I adore the colour, and Jennifer’s decision to co-ordination her dress to her eye makeup once again, but I have a big feeling the dreaded ‘D’ word (dated) will be tagged to this frock.

Personally I feel the look fit the occasion and the performance.

Miley Cyrus In Vintage Bob Mackie & Jennifer Hudson In Jovani – The Voice

Party season is upon us, and dazzling duo Miley Cyrus and Jennifer Hudson looked more than ready as they  took to their spinning seats for their judging duties on ‘The Voice’ on Monday (November 20).

Miley Cyrus: The singer has a reputation of outlandish, quirky and some might say ridiculous outfits, but she was giving us old Hollywood glamour on this occasion wearing a gold vintage strapless gown from Bob Mackie. Looking at this I would say the spirit of Diana Ross is with her. What do you think of this rare glam moment from Miley?

Jennifer Hudson: We all know how much Jennifer loves to show off her legs, and this two-piece short set dutifully obliged. I adore the colourful embellishments which no doubt twinkled vibrantly under the studio lights, but that didn’t stop her from enhancing the stones with emerald green eye makeup. Sydney Evans jewels and a fishtail braid completed her look.
