Fashion Trust Arabia Prize 2022 Awards

The Fashion Trust Arabia Prize 2022 Awards ceremony was held at The National Museum of Qatar on Wednesday (October 26) in Doha, Qatar.

I was very surprised that there wasn’t more love for Bella Hadid’s opening of new exhibition ‘Baghdad: Eye’s Delight’ Schiaparelli suit, but she has a second chance to impress you before the week closed wearing a vintage Alaïa hoodies dress, which thanks to Lori Harvey (forever the trendsetter), are making a red carpet comeback.

This is simple and sophisticated, but I prefer her first look.

If you couldn’t tell by the tailoring, then the Four Ring clutch should’ve been the give-away that Janet Jackson was wearing Alexander McQueen.

When it comes to her coat, I love the smooth transition from wool silk to organza.

Jasmine Tookes looked magnificent wearing a Zuhair Murad Fall 2021 Couture black gown with gold embroidery which felt like the right choice for this extravagant event.

Did Jourdan Dunn need those runway earrings to breathe some life to this Balmain Spring 2023 fringe dress?

I’m really surprised at how mumsy this Miu Miu dress feels on Olivia Culpo.

It’s rare that I find myself not liking her red carpet looks, but I only love this from the neck up.

Poppy Delevingne was also dressed in Miu Miu.

I feel that her feathered dress would have benefited from a narrower waist, but she looks beautiful, nonetheless.

Sabrina Elba was looking positively regal wearing a Fall 2022 look from Miss Sohee.

The opulent neckline and the cape in general sold this look to me, along with her styling which ensured that the cape was the hero piece.
