Lupita Nyong’o Wore Duaba Serwa To The 2022 Wearable Art Gala
Lupita Nyong’o attended the 5th annual Wearable Art Gala honouring Angela Bassett and Mark Bradford was held at the Barker Hangar on Saturday (October 22) in Santa Monica, California, with her sister Fiona Nyong’o.
The sisters were twinning wearing Duaba Serwa origami textured designs which is a signature for the Ghanaian designer.
Both women look beautiful, and mostly importantly, they both nailed the wearable art theme.
I love both looks for different reasons.
Fiona’s for the modernity infused by the shimmering blouse, while Lupita’s had more of a traditional African flare to her design which I’m equally drawn to.
The Nyong’o sisters were easily the best of the night alongside Lori Harvey.
Lupita’s look was completed with a sculptural updo teased by celebrity hairstylist Vernon Francis.
