Beyonce Wore Gucci To The 2022 Wearable Art Gala
The Wearable Art Gala, co-founded by Tina Knowles-Lawson and Richard Lawson, took place this weekend with the aim of raising resources to support the WACO Theater’s youth mentorship programs.
Beyonce is always the belle of this ball, and with the Harlem Nights theme which saw the guests celebrating fashions from the 1920s to the 1950s—did the singer nail the theme?
She wore a custom Gucci mermaid black gown accented with white cups embellished in two stars and a tulle train.
I can get onboard with this gown considering the theme, and the event, but I found the bright pink opera gloves with ruffles at the top of their sleeve to be a bit of an eyesore.
Lorraine Schwartz chandelier earrings and a Dolce & Gabbana clutch completed her look.
Jay-Z could’ve leaned into the theme more by wearing a hat, a pinstriped suit, or even a cane, but he kept things simple in a classic black double-breasted tuxedo.
