Lupita Nyong’o Front Row @ Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda & Alta Sartoria

Lupita Nyong’o attended the Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda Women’s Show and the Alta Sartoria Men’s Show this weekend in Sicily, Italy.

Her first look was a custom Dolce & Gabbana draped satin dress in Maiolica print embroidered with zesty lemons and orange blossoms.

While I’m not entirely sold on the purple lip colour, the dress is what really stole my attention here thanks to the Mediterranean vibes which is full of the actress’ zest for colour and prints.

She accessorised her look with Dolce & Gabbana cobalt blue satin heels which featured yet more lemons.

This second dress is moodier than I would like for Lupita, but I did find myself thoroughly charmed by the style of this Dolce & Gabbana custom mini dress.

Inspired by the Sicilian Carretto tradition and enriched by embroidered floral patches and Swarovski gems, a hand painted Carretto headband eventually sold this look to me.
