Ariana DeBose Wore Oscar de la Renta To The TIME 100 Gala

Ariana DeBose joined Zendaya on the red carpet for the 2022 TIME 100 Gala held at the Lincoln Center on Wednesday (June 8) in New York City.

The actress wore a beautifully embellished dress which was one of the things Oscar de la Renta does best.

Cut from sheer tulle with embroidered sequin flowers, we’ve seen similar OdR designs on Gemma Chan and Cynthia Erivo.

What both of those ladies have in common is their decision to wear underwear that matched their skin-tone.

I think this creates the perfect illusion and allows you to concentrate on the intricacies of the beautiful handmade piece.

Had Ariana opted to wear nude underwear instead of black, I would’ve been considerably more excited about this look, because it’s easily one of her best.
