Blake Lively Wore Atelier Versace To The 2022 Met Gala

Blake Lively attended the 2022 Met Gala celebrating ‘In America: An Anthology of Fashion’ held at The Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday (May 2) in New York City.

As the co-chair she was expected to adhere to the night’s Gilded Glamour theme, and she didn’t let us down.

The actress stunned in this custom Atelier Versace gown featuring an art deco design accented with a bow and train.

But wait.  There was more.

With the help of some handlers, both her bow on her dress and opera gloves were unfurled to reveal another layer for our visual entertainment.

I want to say that Blake was Bertha, to Ryan Reynolds George Russell.

However, on the red carpet Blake explained that she was actually influenced by New York City.

The skirt was inspired by the consolation of Grand Central station.

The body of the dress was inspired by the Empire State Building, and the draping and the tiara was inspired by the Statue of Liberty.

The majority of you may not love her red carpet style, but you can’t deny she always nails the theme at the Met Gala.

Lady Liberty is going to be a tough act to follow.

Christian Louboutin ‘Marchavekel’ sandals and Lorraine Schwartz jewels completed her look.
