Viola Davis Wore Lafayette 148 New York On The Today Show

Viola Davis made a guest appearance on ‘The Today Show with Hoda & Jenna’ in New York City on Wednesday (April 27), where she talked about her childhood and past traumas that she writes about in her new memoir, ‘Finding Me.’

I knew when she stepped onto the red carpet at the 2017 Golden Globe Awards in Michael Kors Collection, and last year when she wore Greta Constantine to the African American Film Critics Association Awards, that yellow was a great colour for the actress.

But she proved that yellow is her colour wearing this custom Lafayette 148 New York suit by Creative Director, Emily Smith.

And it’s not one shade of yellow, we have three from the earrings, the silk shirt and the suit.

I feel blessed to witness this ray of sunshine.

Monochrome continues to be a favoured look for celebrities at the moment, as is the oversized suit.

Viola works both trends with great aplomb.

What a beautiful mood lifting look.
