Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge Wore Self-Portrait To The Royal College of Midwives

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge Wore Self-Portrait To The Royal College of Midwives

Princess Anne and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge carried out their first ever joint engagement, visiting the Royal College of Midwives and Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists HQ in London today (April 27).

It looks like someone informed Catherine that monochrome is on trend, as the Duchess gave us a match moment for this event.

I do love Catherine in smart classic looks, yet this Self-Portrait tailored dress (which looks like a jacket and skirt combo) has a slight contemporary feel.

I loved the classic fit and shape, and how she swapped out the tan belt we see on the model, for a matching belt.

The Duchess as she has gone from looking aged (and dated) to looking her age in the space of three days.

Gianvito Rossi pumps, an Emmy London clutch, Annoushka earrings and a Monica Vinader necklace completed her look.

Catherine wore a similar look from the same designer to the National Portrait Gallery back in September. On that occasion the dress featured a bouclé jacket and a pleated lace skirt.

Princess Anne was on trend herself wearing a gorgeous green coat with a matching scarf.
