Viola Davis Wore Greta Constantine To The 2021 African American Film Critics Association Awards

I was about to close my laptop and start revising, as I have an exam on May 3, then Elizabeth Stewart posted an image of Viola Davis from the 2021 African American Film Critics Association Awards which virtually took place on Wednesday (April 7).

What was my reaction?

Shock.. followed flurry of goosebumps, and pure delight.

We were all very excited about the Greta Constantine Spring 2021 collection when it was presented back in October.

Little did we know that 5 months later, that I would able to count five looks that have been worn from my wish list.

I don’t like to pick favourites as you know, but this is my favourite…even though this is the second look Viola has worn from this collection.

It’s summer and happiness in a dress. You can’t look at this find a bad word to say about it.

I would be SHOCKED if OriginalMeme did LOL.

Yellow is the most energetic colour, as it brings with it associations with laughter, hope and sunshine.

We hope to see Viola continue this run. I can’t stress enough at how much I am just loving everything about her at the moment.

Viola collected the AAFCA Icon Award, at the event. Which was apt.

Christian Louboutin pumps and turquoise Monies earrings completed this BDOTY worthy look.

I’m gonna need to lie down after this.
