Lucy Boynton Serves Up Seven Looks Promoting ‘Why Didn’t They Ask Evan?’

Those of us who follow celebrity fashion can spot a Leith Clark girl from a mile off.

She is whimsy (Valentino), yet has an intellectual take on femininity (Celine and Chanel), and she has a penchant for 60s mod and fantastical forest fashion (Erdem).

Lucy Boynton has at some point embodied all those styles, and for her drama series ‘Why Didn’t They Ask Evans?’ she served up seven looks.

Starting with this classic flared Bella Freud navy suit, which not only paid homage to the ’60s with the flares, but also via the Paul & Joe platform heels, which thanks to Valentino have seen something of a resurgence.

Here Lucy is saying goodbye to winter pieces and hello to spring ready cardigans.

I will always adore a cosy transeasonal look, and this look from Chanel ticks all the boxes. 

Nautical chic look never gets old. 

Lucy kept it simple and classic wearing a Celine Reversible Spencer Captain jacket styled with Chanel trousers. 

You can never go wrong with a LBD, especially one like this Celine mini which is elevated with playful charm thanks to the cold-shoulder and layered bodice.

While continuing her love for platform heels, Lucy injected some colour into this promo tour courtesy of this Chanel pleated mini dress.

Embracing unabashed femininity this look is tinged with a mod ‘60s flavour.

There was no way this promo tour was to conclude without one Erdem design.

For her guest appearance on ‘The Today’ show, she wore an Erdem Fall 2017 keyhole design with a silhouette that is as feminine as its floral jacquard fabrication.

For her guest appearance on ‘The Late Late Show With James Corden,’ Lucy’s final look was courtesy of Valentino.

Lucy looked like a modern-day tinkerbell in this embellished mini dress which was bursting with personality.

This along with the Erdem look were my favourites from this tour.
