Lupita Nyong’o Wore Prada To The 2022 Oscars

Leave it to Lupita Nyong’o to show up and absolutely shut down the 2022 Oscars red carpet, which was held in Hollywood, California on Sunday (March 27).

While the Oscar-winning actress may not have been nominated for anything at this year’s ceremony, she still managed to win the red carpet in a yellow-gold sequined Prada gown.

We all know that Lupita loves a metallic number on the Oscars red carpet — just see her 2018 Versace dress for proof. But with its pink-hued floral detailing, this floor-length dress manages to be both breathtaking and simultaneously darling. And did we mention, totally perfect for spring too?

A thoughtfully braided upfo and understated red lip seamlessly wrap up Lupita’s golden look.

I may be biased, but the woman can really do no wrong on the red carpet. Is it too soon to name her as my Best Dressed for the night?

If you’re having a case of déjà vu, that might be because the embellishments are very similar to Sarah Paulson’s 2016 Prada Emmys dress.
