2022 AFI Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Here is a roundup from the 2022 AFI Awards luncheon which was held at the Four Seasons Hotel on Friday (March 11) in California, which was also attended by Caitriona Balfe and Andrew Garfield.
Ariana DeBose wore a one-shoulder pink dress from Greta Constantine.
I adore this vibrant shade of pink on her, but if I was to be nitpicky, I would say that this dress needed smoothing out, as it has managed to bunch up under the bust line.
Matching Jimmy Choo ‘Kendra’ platforms completed her look.

Andie MacDowell wore a Thom Browne ticket pocket black lace suit with the rwb stripes featured on the shirt.

Alexandra Daddario wore a three-piece look from Monique Lhuillier which felt like one of the brand’s less princess styles.

Aunjanue Ellis has really found her groove with Thom Browne. Ā This look carries the quirks, sophistication, and contemporary appeal we expect from the designer.
Iām really looking forward to seeing what she wears on Oscar night.

āThe White Lotusā actress Brittany OāGrady looked radiant wearing a bordeaux Zuhair Murad Pre-Fall 2022 dress styled with a matching Jimmy Choo āEllipseā clutch.

Demi Singleton usually gives us edgy looks, but she channelled a more romantic aesthetic wearing this Giambattista Valli Resort 2022 periwinkle midi dress styled with pretty bow accented sandals.

Dove Cameron wore a Versace Spring 2022 suit featuring the brand’s iconic print which she styled with the latex runway bra.
The Versace tripe stacked platforms were needed here.

We’re seeing a lot of Thom Browne this week. Ā
Julianne Nicholson wore the layered tulle dress from the brand’s Spring 2022 collection, which we saw in cape form worn by Aunjanue Ellis earlier this week.

Jung Ho-yeon continues her love affair with Louis Vuitton.
It has a private school uniform feel to it, but I really like the simplicity of the look.
Itās not often you put the words Louis Vuitton and simplicity in the same sentence.

I wish Margaret Qualley wouldnāt always select such drab colours. Ā This Chanel Spring 2022 dress wouldāve been much more appealing in blue.

Saniyya Sidney joined her āKing Richardā co-star Demi Singleton in wearing Giambattista Valli.
At first I thought this was a two-piece, but her pretty pink and ivory tweed outfit is actually a dress with a mesh waist panel giving an illusion of separates.

Sarah Snook wore a gorgeous Dolce & Gabbana beige calf-length dress which benefits from draping.
The look was styled with Alexandre Birman Clarita sandals.
Thanks to the warm tone of beige, the āSuccessionā actress was in no danger appearing washed her out.

Thuso Mbedu was one of my favourites at this event along with Sarah Snook. Ā Mostly because I would wear this Armani look in a heartbeat.
The shades of pink and lilac are so girly, plus I love the nonchalance from the blazer.
I wasnāt all that crazy about the embellished sandals, but the look, along with the makeup, was definitely one of the more refreshing looks on this red carpet. Ā
