Carrie Underwood Wore Dolce & Gabbana To The 2022 ACM Awards

The 2022 ACM Awards (Academy of Country Music Awards) took place on Monday (March 7) in Las Vegas, Nevada.

You can’t start covering this awards ceremony with anyone else but the host Carrie Underwood.

I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve wished that Carrie would give us something other than a princess tulle dress, and it looks like the fashion gods have heard my prayers.

She did switch things up and dip into Haute Couture wearing Iris van Herpen for the Latin Music Awards.  But that was very much a one off, as the 2021 CMAs proved.

This Dolce & Gabbana rose gold, crystal embellished custom dress has me hopeful that she’s finally ready to evolve her style beyond the expected.

I’m not sure how this will go down with y’all, but I’m just grateful to see something new, and besides that, I do think she looks amazing.
