Billboard Women in Music 2022 Red Carpet Roundup

Here is a roundup from the red carpet of the Billboard Women in Music 2022 event which took place at the YouTube Theater on Wednesday (March 2) in Inglewood, California.

Tinashe was the first to catch my eye in this Christopher John Rogers bustier and pleated maxi skirt.

If you didn’t recognise this look from the rainbow of colours, you should’ve recognised it from the designer’s signature strawberry silhouette.

Tinashe is quite petite, so I’m glad she opted to wear her highest platforms to make this look work.

Normani brought the heat wearing this lush chocolate brown Bronx and Banco Spring 2022 tiled top and leather wrap skirt.

The look was styled with the celebrity favourite Femme Luce Minimale strappy sandals.

Karol G didn’t say who designed her stunning red chiffon off-the-shoulder gown, but she did share on her Instagram stories that her inspiration for the night was Julia Roberts red gown from ‘Pretty Woman’.

Jimmy Choo ‘Seada’ pumps completed her homage to an iconic cinematic moment.

At this point. I think Heidi Klum is just trolling us.

The model wore a bustier look from the Moschino Pre-Fall 2022 collection.

With better styling, I could’ve forgiven how Olivia Holt’s blue Salvatore Ferragamo Spring 2022 cut-out dress doesn’t translate that well on the red carpet.

Summer Walker was giving us grecian vibes with her Abyss By Abby ‘Ania’ gown.

Christina Aguilera wore an Alberta Ferretti Fall 2021 black on black abstract print satin suit.

This really wasn’t Christina’s look.  I much prefer her in diva mode.

It would appear that we have a heavy black footwear trend on our hands, and Phoebe Bridgers is the latest celebrity to jump on the bandwagon.

Sadly they just didn’t go with her glorious cream Gucci suit.

Ari Lennox wore a Haleia Fall 2022 asymmetrical gown.

I know high low gowns are favoured by most, but I really love the many elements of this look especially the mix print maxi skirt, and how she opted to wear the look off-the-shoulder.
