Ariana DeBose Wore Bibhu Mohapatra On The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon
Ariana DeBose made a guest appearance on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ on Thursday (January 13), where she talked about playing the Bullet in the musical ‘Hamilton, ‘working with Meryl Streep and Nicole Kidman in ‘The Prom’ and making her hosting debut on SNL.
I can’t say I was the biggest fan of Ariana’s style during her promo tour for ‘West Side Story,’ but as you know I’m a sucker for a glam moment, so I should love her in this Bibhu Mohapatra Spring 2022 gown, right?
Yes and no.
The dress is beautiful, and I would go as far as to say this is one of her best outings.
But on the other hand, it feels a little too dressy for a TV show appearance.
Yes, this is coming from the same girl who loves a gown for a Cannes Film Festival photocall, and Lady Gaga wearing Haute Couture at an airport, but Cannes is a unique event as every moment Lady Gaga steps out of her home.
This feels like a red carpet look. I would’ve loved this moment had it been a jumpsuit or cocktail length.
