Rachel Zegler Wore Christopher Kane Promoting ‘West Side Story’
Rachel Zegler was awarded the Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy for ‘West Side Story’ at the 2022 Golden Globe Awards which wasn’t televised this year.
While we missed out on what would’ve undoubtedly been a fairy-tale moment for the actress, she looked in great spirits as she continued with her promotion efforts for this film attending a Q&A where she talked about her role in the film.
On this occasion she wore a Christopher Kane backless chainmail top with ribbed trims, which I think looks more sophisticated tucked into the charcoal wool trousers.
Chainmail will always have ‘90s, dance floor ready connotations, but I’m not getting that from Rachel’s look mostly because it’s not a draped mini dress.
I really wish she had given us a peek at the open back, and I’m glad she didn’t opt for the runway footwear.
