‘Cyrano’ Red Sea International Film Festival Opening Premiere

Hilary Swank and a host of supermodels brought the glamour to the opening gala of the Red Sea International Film Festival on Monday (December 6) in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, despite the cast of the film attending the world premiere in London.

Honestly. Hilary was one of the last people I expected to see in a Mônot dress, but this look was custom, so it was void of the usual cut-outs.

I can see where the designers were going with this dress, but I wish the bodice sat way higher.  It feels like it is hanging off her with a wardrobe malfunction imminent.

Tina Kunakey’s love for hoodie dresses – which I noticed started during Cannes Film Festival – continued at this event.

When it comes to this custom Mônot dress, I am once again impressed with not only this being void of any cut-outs, but this silk dress also sees the designer step outside their black, white, and black-and-white preferred colour palette, for this rich jewelled tone purple hue.

The emerald necklace was just as hypnotic as the rest of her look.

Candice Swanepoel looked so elegant in her custom Mônot Spring 2022 gown which featured a flowing train, which was carried down the red carpet by her escort who just happened to be wearing a gimp mask.

If you’re having a case of déjà vu, that’s because Ciara wore the original runway design which had a more provocative/revealing cut.

I’m not always the biggest fan of Shanina Shaik’s style.  Nothing personal. It’s just that she never leaves a lasting impression. I couldn’t tell you what her last red carpet dress looked like.

But I was very impressed by how much glamour she brought to this red carpet wearing this custom Mônot sequin gown.

 Irina Shayk wore thw most modest Mônot look of the night.

Sara Sampaio was also dazzling in black wearing a halter beaded fringe ombre tulle gown from Zuhair Murad’s Fall 2021 Couture collection.

Alessandra Ambrosio is on a bit of a roll.

She is always beautiful, but her last two looks have been particularly enjoyable.

The model could’ve easily given us one of the typical Mônot gowns, but I love that she opted for elegance on this occasion wearing a white caped Zuhair Murad Spring 2021 Couture gown with embellished floral accents.

There is a cut-out and there is a thigh high slit, yet I’m not getting that usual sense of déjà vu from this look.
