H&M @ The Fashion Awards 2021

Hailee Steinfeld in H&M The Fashion Awards

H&M isn’t a red carpet brand, but they are often well represented at major fashion events like the Met Gala and The Fashion Awards.

Last night they showcased their upcoming ‘The Circular Design Story,’ which will be available online and in select stores worldwide from December 9, via a host of celebrities.

This ‘Circular Design Story’ is the latest in H&M’s impressive new ‘Innovation Series’, which sees the brand launch a series of collections dedicated to promoting the use of new, more sustainable materials, technologies and production processes.

Hailee Steinfeld was rocking a custom H&M open-back catsuit made from recycled polyester and recycled glass beads which I wish I could own for the upcoming party season.

Letting the one-piece do all the talking by just adding patent pumps and sultry cat-eyes ensured this was one of the looks of the night.

Kehlani in H&M The Fashion Awards 2021

Kehlani’s style is ever changing.  I’m yet to pigeon-hole her, as she isn’t afraid to experiment with different styles.

I wouldn’t have thought she would be attracted to this H&M tulle polka dot dress made from recycled polyester, but I’m digging juxtaposition between the dainty dress and the colourful tattoos.

The only thing I’m not digging are the pumps, which feel a bit formal with this dress.

Sterling King jewels completed her look.

Thomas Doherty in H&M The Fashion Awards 2021

I really failed to get on board with Thomas Doherty’s sustainable H&M look.

The accent on the shirt looks to have been inspired by Louis Vuitton Mens.  The trousers are ill-fitting.  The scarf feels like it was added to imbue some personality, but fails.

Precious Lee in H&M The Fashion Awards 2021

When it came to Precious Lee in her H&M look which featured a trenchcoat in VEGEAℱ leather, I’m on the fence as to whether there is too much going on.

I think I would remove the hat, or does the hat make the look? I’m confused.

Zara Larsson in H&M The Fashion Awards 2021

Zara Larsson’s H&M look which was created from Eastman Naiaℱ renewed acetate and organic silk just needed the trousers to be hemmed a few inches and a more complementary pair of shoes, even sneakers to have been perfect for me.
