Here is a roundup from some of the menswear looks which have stood out this week.
Kodi Smit-McPhee attended ‘The Power Of The Dog’ AFI Fest screening alongside Kirsten Dunst.
I feel like I’m a
lot little late to the Kodi Smit-McPhee style appreciation party, but since 2021 LACMA Art + Film Gala my interest has piqued, and I’ve now become fully mildly fascinated with his red carpet looks.
How could I not when this Dior Men Fall 2021 look balances contemporary design codes with elevated craftsmanship.
Factor in that rich chocolate shade of brown, and the ribbed turtleneck and I’m salivating at just how cool and well coordinated this is.
This could’ve easily read UPS driver, but he manages to swerve that.
Forgoing a tie for a clean, crisp collar clip, we once again have another full-bodied red wine hued look which is trending in menswear right now.
David Yurman jewels and a Montblanc timepiece completed his look.
“The Wonder Years’ actor Dule Hill opted to skip the customary Stetson and cowboy boots for a beautiful checked Etro suit at the 2021 CMA Awards, where he was a presenter on the night.
Jamie Dornan presented a no-fuss profile wearing a Hermes suit. I wish this was a fully blacked out look. I can’t say I’m that excited about the tan shoes here.
Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophie Hunter joined Kirsten Dunst and my new fave Kodi Smit-McPhee on the red carpet for the ‘The Power Of The Dog’ AFI Fest screening.
Benedict is yet to commit to a suit outside his favoured colour palette, but I ain’t mad at that when he continues to present sharp looks.
The real interest for me here is Sophie, who opted to recycle her Simone Rocha Fall 2018 look which she first wore back in 2018 for the Emmy Eve Nominees Celebration.
In 2018 she opted for white pumps, but I think the black sandals she wore on this occasion was an improvement for the overall look.
