Front Row @ Chanel Resort 2022 Dubai
When the Chanel Resort 2022 collection was first presented back in May, it was virtual due to the ongoing pandemic.
On Tuesday (November 3) it was held in front of a live audience for the first time in Dubai with ambassadors and friends of the brand in attendance.
Here are some of the notable attendees.
Penelope Cruz was of course in attendance, that was expected.
What wasn’t expected was how much I would love her in this Chanel sequin jacket and skirt from the Spring 2022 collection, which I didn’t know had an open back until this moment.
Penelope used the opening at the back to showcase her Chanel Fine Jewellery.
I’m sure many of you will agree when I say this is one of Penelope’s best Chanel looks of the year.
The French-Algerian actress Sofia Boutella was looking sexy and chic wearing a Chanel Spring 2022 Act 1 look with a classic Chanel jacket to add a touch of Fall vibes.
Lebanese actress Ruba Zarour kept things cute wearing a Chanel Spring 2022 Act 1 tweed dress and matching vest, with some heavy footwear to dial down the twee.
Egyptian actress Tara Emad wore a Chanel Spring 2022 Act 1 tweed black suit, where I felt the accessories were the focal point.
Moroccan-Canadian singer-songwriter Faouzia performed at the after-party wearing a Chanel Fall 2021 look which I feel would have benefitted from slim-fit trousers.
John Legend, who provided the entertainment at the event, wore a look from Chanel’s Fall 2021 collection, which he styled with a Chanel J12 Chronograph timepiece, Chanel sneakers and a selection of Chanel necklaces.
