Isabelle Huppert Wore Balenciaga To The 2021 Tokyo International Film Festival Opening Ceremony

Isabelle Huppert was unveiled as the president of the jury during the opening ceremony of Tokyo International Film Festival on Saturday (October 30) in Japan.

The French actress wore a custom Balenciaga dress, which appears to have been inspired by look 61 from the Spring 2022 collection – a collection she modelled for.

Cristóbal Balenciaga’s legacy of imaginative silhouettes is viewed through Demna Gvasalia’s modern lens with this black lace dress, matched with gloves, and what I believe are legging boots.

The svelte profile feels daring Isabelle, who I would’ve expected to wear a succession of Armani Prive looks much like she did in Venice.

With the addition of Chopard jewels, it seems like the trend of wearing jewels over opera gloves continues.
