Lucy Liu attended the Pan Asian Art & Action Gala 2021 on Thursday (October 21) in New York City.

As you know Lucy has always been one of my faves, and when your faves change direction style wise, it can be a nervy moment.

The actress wore a futuristic-looking Christopher Kane Spring 2022 mini dress which feels superhero inspired.

Do I like the dress?

Kinda. As I don’t feel like this is the most flattering picture.

What I know I don’t like are the Jimmy Choo ‘Leroy’ boots with this dress.

Lucy is quite petite, so I don’t think these booties are working with the length of this dress.

I believe strappy sandals would’ve improved the overall look by elongating her legs.

A Ferragamo clutch and Anita Ko jewels completed her look.
