Thomasin McKenzie Wore Gucci & Chanel To The ‘Last Night In Soho’ LA Premiere & Newport Beach Film Festival

Do you remember when Thomasin McKenzie was the princess of tiered tulle gowns?

Well.  Judging from her latest two looks for the premiere of ‘Last Night In Soho’ and the Newport Beach Film Festival in LA, things have changed.

Starting with the premiere, I was honestly floored to see the young actress wearing this Gucci gown which was enriched with green paillettes and silver beaded embroidery.

The most eye-catching thing about this dress was the alluring keyhole.

This change of pace might be too swift for some, but the 21-year-old wears it well, looks comfortable, and I think the dress sets the right mood for the film.

A lot of people bemoan Elle Fanning for not venturing out of her style bubble which was set in her teens, so I will assume those people will be applauding Thomasin’s grown up style for her return to the red carpet.

When it comes to her Chanel LBD for the Newport Beach Film Festival and Variety’s 10 Actors To Watch event, I was a lot less enthused.

I don’t know where to start.

I think the main issue is that there is too much going on in one look.  I probably would’ve been able to get on board with this look had it not been for the ruffled skirt which is crazy busy.

I don’t know.

The shoes weren’t my favourite either.
