Emma Mackey Wore AMI Paris, Prada & Courrèges Promoting ‘Eiffel’

French actress Emma Mackey served up three looks over the weekend while promoting her new film ‘Eiffel’ in Paris which were all styled by Rudy Simba Betty.

What did all three looks have in common?  The colour black.

As you know I’m not always the biggest fan of black looks as I have a penchant for bold colours, but I did find myself seduced by each look.

The first was for a special event held within the important location of the film, the Eiffel Tower itself.

The actress wore a sensual black dress styled with an oversized blazer from AMI Paris.

You won’t be surprised to learn that I prefer the look without the blazer or the boots, but having been at the top of the Eiffel Tower in the winter months, both were needed, as it’s bitterly cold up there, so I won’t judge on her marrying glam with practicality for this look. 

Tiffany & Co. jewels provided the finishing touches. 

For a TV show appearance on France 2, she wore a full Prada look.

Here we see the brand tap into the current trend of cropped silhouettes with the reimagining of the much-loved blazer.

Although the blazer feels decidedly modern, the label stays true to traditional aspects. Note, for example, the contrasting satin lapels that recall a classic tuxedo jacket.

I would’ve loved a pair of sandals with the look, but I can see the playful contrast she was going for here.

The final look for the premiere was a custom creation from Courrèges.

If I didn’t know it for a fact, I would’ve said this figure-hugging dress was made for her.

Fusing the elegance of a classic LBD with contemporary cut-outs that lend an alluring finish, this dress hugs in all the right places, ensuring that all eyes were on her during this premiere.

Boucheron jewels completed this look.
