Anya Taylor-Joy Wore Rodarte & Christian Dior Haute Couture For The ‘Last Night In Soho’ Photocall & Premiere

Anya Taylor-Joy attended the photocall and premiere for ‘Last Night In Soho’ during the 2021 Venice Film Festival on Saturday (September 4).

For the photocall she wore a Rodarte Spring 2021 dress and duster which I love for the whimsical nature, and retro inspired print.

Exuding effortless summer romance, Anya styled with Giuseppe Zanotti sandals and Tiffany & Co. jewels.

I was expecting big things from the premiere.  

We all did on account of her amazing run during awards season.

But to be honest, I was a little disappointed by this Dior Haute Couture pink satin silk dress.

I adore the style of the dress, the colour, the Dior pink embroidered beret, the Tiffany & Co. necklace, and the story and the thought process.

I can totally see where all parties were going with this. But the fabric is killing me.

The fabric isn’t holding up well, and I’m not referring to creases of any kind.  I’m talking more about the structure.

I feel like this design needed a fabric that could make those details we can see pop and stand out.

I wanted this to be like a balloon on the day it has been blown up.

This is more like a balloon a few days after when it’s lost a bit of air.  I hope that makes sense.
