Rita Ora Celebrates Taika Waititi’s 46th Birthday In Dion Lee

Rita Ora led the celebrations for her beau – Taika Waititi – 46th birthday party in Los Angeles on Wednesday (August 18).

She captioned this Instagram picture, “Cutie with the boot – ieeee ?.” I’m guessing referring to her footwear and not her derrière. But I could be mistaken.

The British singer and judge for ‘The Voice Australia,’ gave a nod to her Zealand-born boyfriend and the place she called home for several months wearing a dress from the Sydney-based designer Dion Lee.

Getting straight to the point.  I love this Dion Lee Powertulle corset dress.

Yes. It’s sheer. 

Yes. There is a touch of underboob.

And yes, we’ve seen many iterations of this style of dress starting from Casey Cadwallader, the Creative Director of Mugler.

But the way Rita is striking a confident silhouette, with the sex appeal enhanced by the sultry cat-eyes, she has me in a trance and I’m not going to fight it.

I will say that I’m glad for the cross-over leg pose here, as I’m not so confident about those boots. This dress needed strappy sandals methinks.
