Thandiwe Newton Wore Alexander McQueen To The ‘Reminiscence’ London Premiere
Thandiwe Newton was back on the red carpet for the London premiere of ‘Reminiscence’ held at BFI IMAX on Wednesday (August 11).
This is her first red carpet appearance since she reverted to the original Zimbabwean spelling of her first name, Thandiwe.
I have really missed her elegance which was enhanced by her Alexander McQueen sculptural ruffled knit midi dress from the Pre-Fall 2021 collection.
I adore how the romantic edge that Alexander McQueen is known for shines through the graceful ruffle detailing that outlines the neck and shoulders of this dress.
Even though the knit dress is perfectly shaped and imagined in a fit-and-flare profile, it did need the wrap around belt just to give this look that quintessential Alexander McQueen look.
Emerald jewels were the perfect way to style this look, along with simple black sandals, a green clutch and jeweled accent in her hair.
