On Saturday (July 31), LuisaViaRoma hosted the fourth edition of the charity event LuisaViaRoma for UNICEF held in the magical Certosa San Giacomo of Capri, Italy.
Eiza González, the newly appointed ambassador for Bvglari, is the person who stood out the most when it comes to this red carpet.
We have all pigeon-holed the Latin actress in the narrow box of being ”the sultry one.”
Which was justified considering that being “sultry” eminates from every fibre of her being. Some people just have it naturally like that.
But the focus switched, or should I say that her offering expanded during her last promo tour for ‘Godzilla vs Kong’ where those””expected looks”, were mixed with unexpected.
Who can forget her colourful Patou suit?
So while I want to say that this look was expected, it wasn’t.
Mostly on account of learning about the designer of her dress; Del Core.
This fan pleated dress hails from the designers debut Fall 2021 collection, and I’m already excited to see more from it.
There has been a bit of a hole in the fashion-sphere for wearable art like this since Delpozo disappeared from the scene.
Like the aforementioned designer, this look embraces time-honoured couture traditions with modern sensibilities.
When I am writing up my BDOTY list come December, this is the look that will be in my Top 10.
Not only because of the design, but also because of the way Eiza is selling it.
This is a look we would’ve reserved for the likes of Cate, Tilda, Diane…all those girls who have what I refer to as having a Master’s degree in red carpet fashion.
It looks like Eiza just made a step to achieving her postgraduate qualification.
Bvlgari jewels and Casadei shoes completed this stunning look.
