Bella Hadid Wore Jean Paul Gaultier Haute Couture To The ‘Annette’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Bella Hadid joined Maggie Gyllenhaal, Helen Mirren, Jessica Chastain and Marion Cotillard on the red carpet for the ‘Annette’ premiere and opening ceremony of the 2021 Cannes Film Festival on Tuesday (July 6) in France.

There is usually an element of try-hard that you either love or loathe about Bella Hadid.

For me she’s hit or miss at Cannes.

This vintage Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 2002 Haute Couture gown could have gone either way for her.

Thankfully she opted to add cups under the black sheer veil which worked not only as a cross-halter neckline, but also as a flowing train.

The model usually looks so stern on the red carpet, but this picture shows her beaming with joy.

No doubt happy to be back on the red carpet wearing not only a stunning gown, but a collection of jewels from Chopard’s Haute Joaillerie Collection.
