‘In The Heights’ Tribeca Festival Premiere Red Carpet Roundup

Leslie Grace was joined on the red carpet for the ‘In The Heights’ opening night premiere during the 2021 Tribeca Festival on Wednesday (June 9) in New York City by Melissa Barrera, Anthony Ramos and Dascha Polanco.

When it comes to the ladies, the memo was clearly, wear green.

Melissa Barrera took the challenge very seriously wearing a green Dundas cut-out dress, with green Stuart Weitzman platforms and green eye makeup.

In terms of making an impact, lead actor Anthony Ramos matched his leading lady Leslie in terms of wearing a look with plenty of graphic appeal.

This Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2021 snow leopard suit was not one to be missed at this event.

I adore the print, but I do have reservations with regards to the jacket.

In this picture he looks great.  But in others, the jacket seemed to overwhelm him.  Which got me thinking is that why he opted to wear it over his shoulders rather than the more traditional way.

A Cartier time-piece and Giuseppe Zanotti ‘Patrick’ patent leather loafers with a satin band completed his look.

Resplendent in forest green, Dascha Polanco wore a Naeem Khan sequin belted gown which exudes the designer’s unapologetic take on glamour.

I can’t say I’ve been a fan of her style, but this is definitely one for her hall of fame.

The look was styled with Giuseppe Zanotti ‘Catia’ sandals.

Jasmine Cephas Jones also attended the premiere in support of her fiancé Anthony Ramos, so it’s not a surprise that she didn’t get the green memo.

The actress, who we last saw wearing a bold floral print, kept things simple on this occasion wearing an asymmetric draped jersey gown from LBV’s Spring 2021 collection.

The look was beautiful without stealing the spotlight from her man.  Which would’ve been quite difficult if she’d tried.
