Jurnee Smollett Wore Alexandre Vauthier Haute Couture For The ‘Lovecraft Country’ Press Day

Jurnee Smollett continued to promote ‘Lovecraft Country’ on Tuesday (May 11).

When we think of Alexandre Vauthier, especially the Haute Couture collection, our minds take us back to Miley Cyrus’ sequinned and feathered pants, and Daisy Ridley’s ruby crystallised jumpsuit.

What we must not forget is that the designer does have moments where looks are timeless in fit and classic in construction.

Renée Zellweger’s 2021 Independent Spirit Awards jumpsuit was a perfect example of this, along with Jurnee’s ivory blouse and trouser combo which captures the brand’s effortlessly sophisticated Haute Couture aesthetic.

I’m here for the fluid fabric and the elegant silhouette, plus the pops of drama infused with the red lip, crystallised buckled belt and zebra print Magda Butrym pumps.
