Uzo Aduba has been busy promoting season 4 of ‘In Treatment’ with five new looks.
As you know, I love a theme, and the clear theme of this virtual tour were wide-leg trousers.
The first from Cinq à Sept’s Spring 2021 collection was presented in blue Moire fabric. I could’ve been fully on board with this but the bow tie detail along seam feels a little too fussy.
When it comes to the second, the photographer got low to capture the beauty of this custom Adeam look.
I love how this simple and clean look enhanced her elegant aura. I much prefer this easy, breezy look over the first.
The Roland Mouret suit is easily my least favourite look on account of the white Gilroy blazer and cream blouse combo; these colours have always been a weird colour pairing to me.
I can’t say I am a huge fan of how high the Eshmore trousers sit on Uzo either.
And I can’t even begin to tell you how ridiculous those Balenciaga Triple S sneakers are with this look. They really are the final nail in this look.
I have been eyeing up this Emilia Wickstead ‘Jewel’ belted balloon-sleeve denim dress for a while, as denim has never been a fabric of choice for the British designer.
The A-line silhouette was a great choice for Uzo, as it flatters her figure perfectly.
I did have it on my wish list for Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge.
And it’s Adeam for the win again, and I will point out how the simplicity works so well again.
Yes, the trousers might be an inch too long, but the clean lines and muted tones really sold this look to me, along with her pose, which showcases the look in all its glory.
