The 2021 GLAAD Awards took place virtually on Thursday (April 8), celebrating the films, TV series, artists and media that best represented the LGTBQ+ community.
Before performing her new song ‘Girlfriend’ at the event, Rebecca Black posted her virtual look on Instagram.
She wore a larger than life look from the Christian Cowan Spring 2021 collection.
It’s a look that can be celebrated for being bold, but was Rebecca the right person to bring this to life?
I’m already picturing this on Dita von Teese, as she can easily pull off these looks which have a vintage flair.
While I love the in-your-face of it all, the proportions feel a little off which could be due to the shoulders are making her head look tiny.
I’m also getting hint of Mrs McDonald vibe on account of her red hair with this yellow look.
I keep going back and forth with this one.
Niecy Nash hosted this year’s virtual ceremony wearing a gown from Michael Costello.
The top half of this look isn’t working for me, nor is the black waistband.
Had the lining in the skirt been the same on the top half, and the waistband tonal, this would’ve been a better look.
There is something very sophisticated about a man wearing a turtleneck, and Matt Bomer wears it so well.
The actor was giving us Spring vibes wearing a Paul Smith suit in a fresh, lilac pastel hue with white Christian Louboutin shoes.
The tears I would’ve cried had they been black.
This is simply outstanding.
