Keira Knightley's Chanel Couture Suit for 'Black Doves'

Keira Knightley was back on the red carpet this evening for the Black Doves Season Two photocall, held at IET London.

For the Season One premiere back in 2024, the actress wore black Chanel Haute Couture, and she returned to the French fashion house for Season Two, this time wearing Matthieu Blazy’s tailoring.

And with Keira wearing black for the second consecutive Black Doves red carpet, should we call this thematic dressing?

Am I begrudging Keira’s decision to wear this Chanel Spring 2026 Haute Couture suit? Absolutely not. It is a bitterly cold evening in London, and certainly not the night to consider wearing the sheer Erdem dress she wore last week.

What I love about this look is how Blazy has taken classic Chanel tailoring and given it a more relaxed silhouette. The longer jacket and wide-leg trousers offer a softer take on classic Chanel tailoring, while the feathered trims and red-and-white embellished buttons at the neckline and cuffs add just enough interest to the all-black ensemble.

This is probably not the glamour some of you were hoping for with Keira’s return to the red carpet, but it’s a Chanel outing I can happily get behind. And considering the weather, I can’t blame her for prioritising warmth.
