Ashley Madekwe Wore Salvatore Ferragamo To The 2021 British Independent Film Awards
The virtual 2021 British Independent Film Awards took place on Thursday (February 19) via a live-stream event from London.
British actress Ashley Madekwe tuned in from her home in Los Angeles, as she was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her film, ‘County Lines’.
She posted on Instagram, “@bifa_film awards!!! I am OVER THE MOON to be nominated alongside such phenomenal performances and I’m so proud of @countylinesfilm and all that were involved.”
As I was saying yesterday, less is more has always been Ashley’s red carpet M.O.
On this occasion she let the seersucker multi-colour Prince of Wales check fabric of her Salvatore Ferragamo Spring 2021 asymmetrical wrap dress do all the talking.
As you know I’m not a white shoe advocate, but between the light-weight fabric, the styling on the runway and those sun-rays beaming into this beautiful image, I think a lighter colour shoe would’ve been preferred.
What are your thoughts on Ashley’s footwear option here?
I wouldn’t have been mad if she opted for the same shoes from yesterday’s look.
