Andra Day Wore Chanel & Valentino On Good Morning America
Andra Day made a guest appearance on ‘Good Morning America,’ where she gave a debut performance of her new song ‘Tigress and Tweed’.
Both the song and photography continues to play homage to her biggest influence, Billy Holiday, who she played in ‘The United States vs. Billie Holiday,’ which has been nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama, and Best Original Song – Motion Picture.
Andra is a larger than life character in terms of style, but on this occasion she striped everything back.
The signature beehive was swapped for a simple low ponytail, and her love for colour, dramatic silhouettes and feathers was replaced with this simple Chanel Resort 2021 navy blue and black cardigan dress which she styled with Chanel jewels.
This look very much suited the mood of the performance.
But things were very different backstage, as the singer’s bouffant was back in all its glory.

The daring nature of the sheer construction is moderated by lace inserts and ruffled trims which was layered over a bodysuit.
