Jennifer Lopez’s Stylist Shares The Back Up Versace Dress For Her 50th Birthday Party
Jennifer Lopez’s stylist Rob Zangardi posted this image of Jennifer Lopez which he captioned, “Fitting Picture Edit. She went for the Gold. #RandM,” which swift followed with comments ranging from “OMG” from Brad Goreski, to “More of this!!” from carolagmakeup.
And my reaction to Jennifer in Versace Fall 2019 dress was much the same.
However, when I posted this onto my Instagram, the comments were very much mixed.
visual24and7 said, “Classic JLo’s style that I love,” to chidoannemarie who said “Its basically the same dress in different colors year after year. It’s a no for me.”
Personally…as you know…I live for these JLo-Versace moments.
Some comments also said that the look feels a bit dated, but I would counter that by saying this is classic Gianni Versace for me. The Versace that made me fall in love with fashion.
Unapologetic sex appeal that’s like marmite.

Going back to the “she went for gold” comment from Rob, this refers to the fact that of the two dresses on option, Jennifer selected the rose-gold version of this dress for her 50th birthday party back in 2019.
