Ciara Wore Hakan Akkaya To The NFL Honors

Ciara Wore Hakan Akkaya To The NFL Honors

The 10th Annual NFL Honors saw a performance from Leslie Odom Jr. on Saturday (February 6), during the two-hour primetime awards special recognizing the NFL’s best players, performances and plays from the 2020 season.

Russell Wilson was recognised as the ‘Man Of The Year’, and his wife Ciara couldn’t have been more proud.

On Instagram she caption her post, “You’re the most selfless, loving, & caring person I know. Your heart, dedication, and commitment to taking care of others is truly what sets you apart. It’s one of the most beautiful and attractive things about you! I’m so proud of you and to be a part of your great mission to impact others!
Proud to call you my Husband.
Proud of the Father you are to our children.
Proud of the Man you are to our family.
I love you so much @DangeRussWilson!
Congratulations on the Walter Payton MAN OF THE YEAR AWARD Babe!
You really are That Man!”

Before I become overwhelmed with emotion reading this beautiful tribute, let’s get to the fashion.

I wasn’t too crazy about the Balmain blazer dress she wore to last year’s event, but this blazer from the Hakan Akkaya’s Fall 2020 collection feels a lot more chic, and modern.

Don’t write this off as a simple black blazer or LBD.

The part crepe, part velvet, bold shouldered Hakan Akkaya dress is short than short, but I love the trail of rings which line the back.

I’m not sure how she was able to navigated wearing those Loriblu heels on the grass, but they were the perfect way to top off this look.

What about the pink hair?

It’s not my favourite.  In fact, I really dislike it on Ciara.

I would take black or honey-blonde over this faddy pink hue. It doesn’t feel right for this event. I would say save this for the Grammys.
