L'Oreal Unveil Gemma Chan As Their Newest Ambassador

L’Oréal Paris announcing that ‘Crazy Rich Asians’ actress Gemma Chan will be the company’s new international spokesperson is one of the best things to come out of 2020.

In her new role, Gemma will be joining ambassadors Viola Davis, Eva Longoria, and Céline Dion, making her debut in the global L’Oréal Paris campaign for the brand’s Revitalift Derm Intensives 3.5 Percent Pure Glycolic Cleanser, which launches internationally this month.

As you know I always view these appointments from a Cannes Film Festival perspective, as the L’Oreal girls are – in my opinion – the ones who make the festival what it is.

On Saturday (November 21), the actress atended an event announcing the L’Oreal Women of Worth initiative, which she would’ve taken in her stride as an activist.

I have been really excited about the colour green recently. It’s very much taken over my active wear closet in recent weeks thanks to drops by Gymshark x Whitney Simmons and Stax, and I have been trying to be creative with my colour combinations with this shade.

I went orange and green, and brown and green. Now I can add lavender and green into the mix thanks to be influenced by Gemma in this Valentino Resort 2021 look.

Who would’ve thought a summery shade could work so well with a deep dark Fall hue?

Perhaps the lighter shade of green is bridging the summer, fall gap, or it’s just another case of Gemma blowing us away with her effortless style….again.
