Carrie Underwood Wore Yousef Al-Jasmi To The 2020 CMA Awards

Carrie Underwood is only 37 years young, but she’s very much a veteran on the red carpet at the CMA Awards, which was held on Wednesday (November 11) in Nashville, Tennessee.

The singer knows how to work a red carpet.

For so long Carrie was the puffy gown queen at country events, but in recent times her M.O. appears to be, “if it doesn’t sparkle, I don’t want it.”

And dazzle she did wearing an asymmetrical Yousef Al-Jasmi black and silver one sleeve dress.

The black and silver theme didn’t stop at her dress, as she styled her look with black and silver Flor De Maria ‘Carrie’ sandals and Tyler Ellis Lily clutch.

My immediate thought was that this felt a little dated, but on reflection I feel like perhaps the hair is taking her down this route, as I can imagine the look feeling more modern with a slick low ponytail.

But this wouldn’t be a country event or a Carrie look without some big poufy locks.
