Tessa Thompson Wore Marine Serre For The ‘Sylvie’s Love’ Virtual Press Day

I told you it’s braid season was upon us, as Tessa Thompson joins fellow actresses Kerry Washington and Gabrielle Union in sporting a tri-coloured style for the (virtual) promo tour for her new drama film ‘Sylvie’s Love,’ which is set to release on December 25, 2020.

The actress showcase her latest look on Instagram which those of you championing for sustainable fashion will be delighted to see.

Her Marine Serre Fall 2020 dress is a mesh of upcycled materials that the French designer recovered on her antique market hauls.

Slightly different from the look we saw on the runway – as not all pieces can be exactly the same – all winter fabrics are present.

Wool, velvet and leather, which of course featured a warped iteration of the label’s repeated crescent moon print to create a look that feels like it belongs in a post-apocalyptic world.
