Kaitlyn Dever Wore Saint Laurent On The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

On Thursday (October 1), Kaitlyn Dever made a guest appearance on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,’ where she talked about all her projects including ‘Coastal Elites’ (which just premiered on HBO), ‘Monsterland’ and the film version of the musical ‘Dear Evan Hansen.’

If you remember much about Kaitlyn Dever’s style, floral gowns, and ethereal gowns were very much her forte, but I noticed that things were starting to move into a new direction during the awards season 2020; most notably at the Producers Guild Awards, SAG Awards and the Oscars.

So I want to say I’m not surprised by this Saint Laurent Fall 2020 look, but I am.

Not so much by the return of Saint Laurent’s poet blouse featuring a flowing style, high gathered collar and ruffles, more the patent leather trousers which add a rock ‘n roll-luxe aesthetic which we’re more used to seeing from the likes of Kate Moss and Cara Delevingne.

But I have to say I love this look from head-to-toe.

We’ve all made some changes during the last 7 or so months in lockdown.

I have two-thirds of the wardrobe I had before because during my major spring clean I realised that I was holding on to things mostly for sentimental value, as some things hadn’t been worn, or carried in months, maybe even years.

We also have to remember that Kaitlyn is 23 years old, and she is still with her stylist Karla Welch, so I would say that her style is naturally evolving.
