I cannot listen to Jennifer Hudson sing without being engulfed with goosebumps.
It’s borderline impossible.
This happened again after watching her paying tribute to Rep. John Lewis – a genuine American hero and civil rights leader – who recently died at the age of 80.
CBS celebrated the luminary with a special television feature, ‘John Lewis: Celebrating A Hero.’
The program aired on Tuesday, and was hosted by Oprah Winfrey and Tyler Perry, as well as television personality Gayle King and Brad Pitt.
The singer shared a beautiful shot on Instagram as she got lost in the music while she sang her heart out.
The gorgeous mint green Solace London Elin Midaxi dress from the Resort 2020 collection was almost on par with her stunning vocals.
The dress embodies the brand’s ethos of ‘Bold, confident and refined’ that is instantly striking thanks to the narrow sunray pleats that create volume and movement, while balancing the shape, and the minty fresh hue.
With her hair beautifully teased by Albert Morrison, the singer was exuding elegance from every pore.
Le Silla pink glitter pumps completed her look.
I can’t wait for the ‘Respect’ promo tour. Wayman + Micah are very talented stylists, and I’ve grown to love Jennifer style under their guidance.
Remember when all she would wear is mini dresses and skirts?
This a much more refined Jennifer Hudson, which I adore.
