There have been many positives to come out of lockdown for me, and one of those things is the improvement of my skin.
Perhaps being indoors more often has meant my skin hasn’t felt the affects of pollution, or maybe I just have more time to dedicate giving products more than a week to work before a move onto the next one.
Rihanna, founder of Fenty Beauty, is giving us another reason to dip into our pockets, as she celebrated her debut skincare drop – Fenty Skin – with a virtual pre-launch party on Friday (July 31).
Unlike some of her previous Fenty Beauty launches, the singer opted to wear a Fenty dress.
The brown leather slip dress is a preview of an upcoming release, while the spaghetti strap are a custom collaboration from Fenty’s Release 7-20 with shoe designer Amina Muaddi.
There weren’t too many pictures from this event, but the main photo is the one above which only shows Rihanna from the back.
The cynic in me points to the fact that the dress wasn’t the best choice, but this was a beauty launch, and when it comes to her face, makeup and hair, I’m kinda forced not to pay too much attention to the dress. She is breath-taking.
Fenty Skin officially dropped at midnight on August 1.
The theme of this brand is keeping things simple. So Fenty Skin’s 3-step skincare routine which will include the staples you need to get Rihanna’s glow:
